Ontario's human rights commissioner says she's confident that a judge who recently led a review into police oversight in the province will do a good job reviewing the practice of street checks.
Renu Mandhane says in a statement that she's confident Appeal Court Justice Michael Tulloch will address some of the limitations of the current rules.
