Picket lines are being set up at Tim Hortons all across the province as the Ontario Federation of Labour hosts a day of action.
One of the Timmy's being targeted by today's events is a location in Dundas near Hamilton on York Road.
Organizers say they are demanding the corporation not roll back workers’ wages and benefits.
It all stems from reports several franchisees across Ontario are eliminating workers' paid breaks, reducing benefits, and cutting back hours in reaction to the minimum wage increase.
The OFL and the Fight for $15 & Fairness Campaign is expected at the York Road Timmy's at 5 p.m. tonight. Concerned citizens are welcome to join the picket line.
Local labour groups will also be outside Timmy's in Coburg, London, Guleph, Ottawa, and Toronto.
