Labour unrest appears to be continuing at Canada Post.
Officials with the crown corporation confirming individuals are illegally obstructing the movement of mail and parcels at a Halifax plant this morning.
It's not clear who the individuals are, but Canada Post says they will take appropriate action to address the illegal activity impacting the collection and delivery of mail and parcels.
Yesterday, labour activists temporarily blocked access to a Canada Post distribution facility on Millen Road in Hamilton to show solidarity with postal workers.
Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers had been holding rotating strikes as a result of failed negotiations with the corporation.
The union is pushing for improved job security, an end to forced overtime and better health and safety measures.
The federal government passed legislation earlier this week mandating the union members back to work.
