Community water test programs have resumed after a delay due to COVID-19.
The Lake Erie - Niagara Monitoring Hub is testing the recreational water quality at three locations along the North Shore for the second year in a row.
The hub was established by Swim Drink Fish and the Niagara Coastal Community Collaborative with support from Niagara College.
Staff will be conducting weekly E. coli tests at Gravelly Bay, Waverley Beach, and Lorraine Bay and posting the results on the Swim Guide website and app.
Niagara Region Public Health also tests the water quality at beaches throughout the region and posts the results online.
