In June police began investigating reports that drugs were being sold at a St. Catharines apartment.
On Wednesday July 3rd, the Niagara Regional Police Service executed a drug search warrant on a Glenridge Avenue apartment building.
Police located a large quantity of cocaine, MDMA and cash.
This led to the arrest of the lone male occupant of the apartment.
Carl Dixon, 24, is charged with possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking, and 1 count of possession of Proceeds of Crime.
Yousef Khalid, 20, will also be charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Police seized a total of $7450.00 in cash, $67,000.00 in cocaine and $1,000.00 in MDMA
