A heat warning continues for Niagara but the end is in sight.
Environment Canada's Gerald Cheng tells CKTB a hot airmass continues to affect the Golden Horseshoe.
Cheng says it has hit 32 degrees in St.Catharines and humidex values are already in the 40's.
He says all the ingredients for a thunderstorm are here, and some storms north of Toronto, and south of London have been triggered.
He says as we head into the late afternoon and evening there is a higher chance that a storm could hit Niagara.
There is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and a 60% chance later this evening.
A cold front will move through tonight bringing an end to the heat.
Tomorrow's high is 27.
