The union representing workers at the LCBO has asked for a no board report and as a result, a drink may be harder to come by this summer.

The no board report means a strike deadline could come before the end of the month.

It doesn't mean a strike or lockout is assured.

But it does mean, should contract talks go nowhere, workers will be in a legal position to strike.

93 percent of workers voted in April in favour of a strike mandate.

OPSUE has accused the LCBO of exploiting casual workers and they fear the sale of beer and wine in grocery stores is a step closer to privatization.
