On June 23, the Ontario SPCA is returning the Spay-Neuter Clinic to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
The clinic, which has been open since 2012, was operated in partnership with SPCA.
LCHS Executive Directer Kevin Strooband says while there will be some changes, the goal of reducing the pet over-population remains the focus.
Strooband says in this community the focus is the cat over-population issue/
Currently, cat surgeries cost $67 and the LCHS will be reducing this fee to $50.
Strooband says this will expand the reaches of the program to include more cat owners for whom cost may be an issue
