All three leaders of Canada, the U-S and Mexico will sign the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) deal today.
The signing takes place on the sidelines of the G-20 leaders summit in Argentina.
There was a bit of uncertaintly about the deal late yesterday when Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland said there were still some details to be finalized before the three countries could sign the deal.
However, the Prime Minister's office confirmed today's signing late yesterday.
Today marks an important deadline as Mexcio's new president, who is set to take over tomorrow, could scramble the agreement.
The USMCA formally replaces the NAFTA deal.
