Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos says a key message from the thousands of Canadians who took part in consultations on the plan pressed the need to make it more affordable to pay the rent and afford healthy food.
Duclos is making the comments in a Facebook live chat outlining the results of the months-long consultation.
