One of the organizers of a protest at MPP Sam Oosterhoff's office last week says they haven't had communication with the politician yet.
The Friday event, "Tailgate Party Read-in at Sam Oosterhoff's", was created by Elaine Anderson and Suzette Taylor.
Anderson says they found out moments before the protest in Beamsville that funding had been restored to interlibrary loan service.

She says smaller library services won't be able to afford the new program of transporting books via Canada Post since it's only a partial reimbursement.

Anderson says at the end of the day the Ford government cut 50 percent of Ontario's library funding and officials need more details on the announcement since they are working with fewer dollars.
