Complaints from locals about the appearance of business signs on a major corridor has led the Town of Lincoln to consider some changes to its private property sign bylaw.
It's hoped a new bylaw will help make Ontario Street in the town look a little cleaner in terms of the signs peppered along the street.
Lincoln CAO Mike Kirkopolous says they hope to come up with balance that will support local business but also put some criteria in place to make a conformed appearance.
8 changes are being proposed and Kirkopolous says a public meeting will be held in the community to get local feedback.
A date for the meeting has not yet been set.
