A vet office in St Catharines is closed until further notice following a fire.
St. Catharines Fire was on scene at the Lock One Animal Hospital on Lakeshore Road this morning.
According to St. Catharines Fire Communications, the incident dealt with quickly.
"The call was that there was a fire in a filing cabinet with papers. And so we got there and it was heavy smoke. It was put out fast."
A voicemail message for the vet says they are unsure of when they will reopen.
