Niagara police have charged a 20 year St Catharines man for uttering a threat after a local school went into lockdown late this morning
It all started after police say they recieved a credible threat towards a student in at Holy Cross School in St Catharines
They say the suspect was possibly armed with a weapon. The school immediately implemented safety plans and a lockdown.
Officers searching for the male located him in the area north of Lakeshore Rd and Niagara St. and was arrested
An imitation weapon was seized from the male at the time of his arres
Holy Cross remained under lockdown till ETU could clear the building. The lockdown was lifted at approx 1230.
20 year old Hayden Ross WALSH of St Catharines has been arrested for uttering a threat.
This investigation is ongoing by detectives and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
