Police releasing surveillance photos following a bank robbery in Smithville
It happened around 4:15 Monday at the CIBC on Griffin Street North.
Police say the suspect showed a weapon, demanding money from the employees at the branch.
He fled with the cash on foot.
The male suspect is described as white, 20-25 years of age 5'11" to 6'2" with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a black balaclava covering his face, black pants with a red stripe, and black hooded sweatshirt.
In an effort to identify the male, investigators are releasing images of the suspect captured by surveillance cameras.
