Niagara Police have released video footage of a sexual assault suspect in Welland running from the scene of the crime.
The alleged assault took place Thursday morning at 7 in the area of Prince Charles Drive and Fitch Street in regards to a sexual assault that had just occurred.
As a result of the investigation, police were able to obtain video footage of the suspect running, shortly after the incident occurred.
The Niagara Regional Police are also asking anyone who resides in the area of the circle (see photo below), or vehicles with dash cams that may have been in the area between the hours of 6:30am-7:30am, to review their video footage and contact the Niagara Regional Police if they observe anything suspicious.
