A local home improvement store along with some big name tool manufacturers have come to the aid of Habitat for Humanity.
Thieves broke into a trailer on the site of a Habitat build last month in Fort Erie, stealing tools being used to build a new home for a family in need.
Lowe's in Niagara Falls answered the call for help, donating some product.
Tool maker Hitachi has also come forward with a donation of power tools, and Bosh and DeWalt are both committed to helping out.
Police say between $8-10,000 worth of hand and power tools, as well as volunteer supplies were stolen in the theft.
