The Province is mulling over a proposal by Ottawa to lower the legal blood alcohol level for drivers.
The Federal government want to see it go from .08 to .05.
MADD Canada's CEO Andrew Murie says his group has been after the government to lower the limit since 1999 and is welcoming the news.
Murie says all it means for the average man drinking on an empty stomach is the reduction of two drinks an hour.
Ontario's Transportation Minister says while he's not totally against the idea, he says he'd like to see more done to tackle distracted driving.
