Ticks are becoming such an issue in Niagara, the bugs are apparently impacting mail delivery.
A sign has been posted in a Beamsville neighbourhood informing residents that their mail would not be delivered to their community mailboxes due to a tick issue.
Residents in the residential Highland Park area are being told to collect their mail at the Ontario Street Postal office until further notice.
The sign indicates that there is a tick infestation in the area.
Ticks are small bloodsucking insects which can possibly carry Lyme disease.
The image above was the original handwritten sign posted on the mailbox, which was replaced.
