A man has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to women in St. Catharines and then assaulting them.
It happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, at the parking garage in downtown St. Catharines, near Ontario and St. Paul Streets.
Officers arriving on scene found a man fighting and striking different people in the area.
Officers attempted to arrest the man for assault, but he resisted, and police used a conducted energy weapon, or taser.
Following the arrest, officers were told the man had randomly approached two adult women in the parking garage and exposed his genitalia.
The women say they yelled at the man, and that's when he started punching and kicking them.
Eventually a man and a woman walking by, tried to help, but were also assaulted.
Police say the suspect went onto kick a paramedic on the way to the hospital.
All injuries are described as minor.
22-year-old Anthony Joseph Ferracuti of Etobicoke is charged with Indecent Act, six counts of assault, and Resist Arrest.
Ferracuti has been released with a future St. Catharines court date of October 30, 2023.
