A man has been arrested for a third time as police continue to investigate a rash of break and enters in Fort Erie.
36 year old John Chrysler was first arrested near the end of October and charged with two counts of break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime.
In mid-November, police nabbed him again after a theft in the Emerick Street area. He was charged with theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and failure to comply with recognizance.
On Friday afternoon of last week, police caught up with him again after a home in the Gilmore Road and Mary Street area was broken into and a Good Samaritan chased him down.
He now faces additional charges of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and two counts of break and enter.
Home owners are being reminded to lock their doors.
Investigators believe multiple unrelated people are responsible for the numerous B&Es in the area.
