Police say a Barrie, Ont., man is charged after a dispute over toilet paper went too far.
Barrie police say a man called 911 on Wednesday night demanding police attend, and allegedly threatened dispatchers if officers did not show up immediately.
Investigators say the officers were met outside the home by a man who said there had been in an argument between roommates.
They say it was determined the man who made the call to police had instigated an argument over toilet paper and allegedly threatened repeatedly to harm one of the other men living in the home.
Police say the other residents were frightened by the man's aggressive behaviour and threats after it was requested that toilet paper be left in the communal bathroom for all to use.
A 49-year-old Barrie man is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
