Emergency crews called to the Niagara Glen after a man suffered a serious head injury in a fall.
It happened just after 7:00 last night when the unidentified man and his family were hiking in the Glen.
Police say he left the marked trail and began to climb up a headwall, approximately 25 feet up, when he slipped and fell striking his head on the rocky pathway below.
Fire and EMS brought him up to street level using the rescue Davit arm.
The man was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital in serious condition.
