Man wanted for armed robbery at Niagara Falls CIBC

A man is wanted for armed robbery in Niagara Falls.

On Friday afternoon around 2pm, Niagara officers attended the CIBC Bank located at 6225 Huggins Street in Niagara Falls for a robbery. 

A male suspect had entered the CIBC bank, took out a black handgun, demanded money, and left with an undisclosed amount. 

Nobody was injured during this incident.

The suspect was last known to be in the City of St. Catharines and his current whereabouts are unknown at this time. 

Stephane Smith is currently wanted for robbery using a firearm and uttering threats.

He's decribed as a heavy set (230 lbs) unshaven white male, around 5'8'', last seen wearing a black coat, black pants, black rimmed glasses, a dark cross body bag, and a flat cap hat.
