Niagara residents will be marching in a show of support for protesters in Sudan.
More than 100 protesters were killed by security forces just over a week ago as Sudanese people call for a civilian government.
Back in April, a military council was set up to transition the country to civilian rule after the long-time president was removed.
That still hasn't happened and the country is now at a standstill, violence running rampant, amid a national strike.
Locally, supporters will be marching from the Masjid Al Noor Mosque to St. Catharines City Hall at 6 p.m. tonight. A vigil will follow at 7 p.m.
