It was another record breaking year for a marine search and rescue team in Grimsby.
Members of the Grimsby Auxiliary Marine Rescue Unit have recorded 38 rescue missions over the last year, topping the previous record of 34 set in 2016.
Emergencies in western Lake Ontario ranged from capsized boats, to disabled vessels, and missing sailors.
GAMRU is also celebrating the most successful charity auction in recent memory - the service does get a stipend from the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary for approved missions, but relies heavily on donations and fundraising.
