Marineland will be back in court today.
The Niagara Falls theme park facing a total of 11 charges related to animal cruelty, laid by the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
At the first brief court appearance in January, the case was remanded until February; it was then remanded again when Marineland asked for more time to study the evidence.
Five of the charges were laid in November by the OSPCA surrounding the alleged mistreatment of peacocks, guinea hens and black bears.
In January another six charges were added, alleging mistreatment of elk and deer at the park.
A conviction on all of the counts could result in a fine up to $60,000, a lifetime ban on owning animals and up to two years in jail.
Marineland has denied all the allegations.
