In the wake of a number of animal cruelty charges laid against Marineland in Niagara Falls, the park has issued a release indicating all the land and marine animals were found to be healthy, behaving normally, well fed and well taken care of.
Dr. Lanny Cornell, conducted the comprehensive examination of all the animals in the park on February 28th.
Marineland officials say the OSPCA also conducted a complete inspection of all animals at the park on February 21st and 22nd and found no issues of concern.
The park insists there are no grounds for any of the previous charges laid by the OSPCA and maintains they will be exonerated on each charge in court.
Marineland is back in court March 23rd.
