SMG Canada has hired a new General Manager to run the St. Catharines Meridian Centre.
Jeff Dixon will start on the job next month.
Dixon most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls.
He has also worked at Fallsview Casino and the Park Hyatt in Toronto.
In a release, Dixon says “I am looking forward to being a part of the energy that fills the streets of St. Catharines during live events such as IceDogs and River Lions games and I am eager to work with city officials, the IceDogs and River Lions teams, local stakeholders and businesses, as well as the community to continue to achieve the City’s goals for the Centre!”
