A federal judge in Detroit says the recount of Michigan's U-S presidential results can begin at noon today.
The decision gives the state more time to complete the count ahead of the December 13th deadline.
In his ruling, Judge Mark Goldsmith rejected an effort by state officials to wait two business days to get started hand-counting 4.8-million ballots.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested the recount.
Stein also managed to get a recount in Wisconsin and is still fighting to win one in Pennsylvania.
