An Ontario judge will decide next month whether to impose a sentence on Dellen Millard that would make him ineligible for parole for 75 years.
A sentencing hearing was held today in Toronto for Millard following his first degree murder conviction in the death of his father Wayne Millard.
Prosecutors say the sentence of life with no chance of parole for 25 years should be served on top of the 50 years Millard is already serving in the killings of his former lover Laura
Babcock and Hamilton father Tim Bosma.
The defence argues keeping the 33-year-old ineligible for parole until he is over 100 years old would crush any incentive for rehabilitation.
