Provincial police say a quick-thinking citizen helped reunite a young girl with her family after she wandered off at a Lake Erie beach.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says O-P-P received a call yesterday afternoon from the girl's parents who said the four-year-old child was missing from the beach area of Long Point.
Investigators say the girl had walked down the beach, where she was spotted by a person who immediately contacted police.
Sanchuk says officers located the child with the Good Samaritan and reunited her with her family.
