Montebello Park fills with music for two summertime events

Music lovers will be flocking to Montebello Park in St. Catharines as two summertime events return.

Summer Concerts in the Park kicks off tomorrow night at 6 p.m. with Jim Yorfido performing a Johnny Cash tribute.

The free concert series runs throughout the month of July.

Funk RnB Night will be July 17th at 6 p.m. featuring Turbo Street Funk, Niagara musician and St. Catharines' Arts Awards recipient Jessica Wilson hits the stage on July 24 at 6 p.m., and Tragically Hip tribute The Practically Hip will play on July 24th at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, the city's annual Dancing in Montebello Park event returns on August 11th at 6 p.m. with Niagara Olde Tyme Fiddlers.

The fun continues with the Walter Ostanek Band on August 18th, Jimmy Marando Swing Band on August 25th, and Sabor Latino on September 1st.
