Once again some Niagara residents found their garbage left on the curb this week.
Emterra, the company responsible for picking up our waste and recyclables has fallen behind again, the latest in a string of problems throughout the holidays.
But this time, cold weather isn't too blame, the problem centres around vehicle issues and staffing shortages.
Some residents with regular garbage pickup on Friday's found they had to haul their bins back into their yards, after Emterra fell behind and failed to pick up the trash over the weekend.
Those residents can place the bins roadside for pickup this Saturday.
Meantime, the region's annual Christmas tree collection is expected to go ahead as planned Saturday, January 13th.
