More and more people in Niagara suffering from memory loss are being reported missing after wandering away from their homes or care centres.
Sgt. Jason Irving from the NRP's Emergency Task Unit says Project Lifesaver Niagara is trying to combat the issue.
The program started in 2012.
Irving says people registered with the program are outfitted with a device similar to a watch and can be tracked if they go missing.
He says the program has a 100 percent success rate in tracking down people registered with Project Lifesaver.
