It was a miserable weekend for Canadians dealing with flooding from a near 36-hour non-stop downpour in some regions.
Quebec is taking the brunt of it, with 1,900 homes flooded in 130 municipalities.
Flooding is occurring from the Ontario boundary in the west, to the Gaspe peninsula.
National Defence has deployed an additional 800 troops, to join the more than 400 already in the province.
The prime minister has visited a flood-affected area west of Montreal.
Justin Trudeau tweeted that it's inspiring to see friends & neighbours, civilians & soldiers coming together to help those affected.
