A 54 year old Fort Erie resident was killed last night in a crash on the Niagara Parkway.
Police say the man was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on the Parkway at Schweigler Road, just after 7:30, along with two other motorcycles.
The rider lost control and crossed into the northbound lane where he collided with a Chevy Tahoe pulling a boat, driven by a 33 year old Fort Erie man.
The victim was taken to ECMC in Buffalo where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries but did not require any medical treatment.
The two other motorcyclists were not involved in the crash.
This collision remains under investigation by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office, Niagara Parks Police and Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Service's Collision Reconstruction Unit.
