OPP say they received reports about two motorcycles travelling at high rates of speed and weaving in and out of traffic.
This was around 11:30 Tuesday night on the Niagara-bound QEW.
Officers were eventually able to stop the bikes when traffic slowed down at the Lake Street off-ramp in St Catharines.
One officer clocked the motorcycles at 170 km/h.
A 39-year old man was charged with stunt driving.
The second rider, who was carrying a female passenger, resisted arrest and received minor injuries.
A Forty-year old man is facing numerous charges including impaired driving and stunt driving.
