Another heart break for the father of a slain Woodstock girl.
MP's yesterday defeated a Conservative motion to overturn the transfer of Terri Lynne McClinitic from a prison in Kitchener to an indigenous healing lodge in Saskatchewan.
McClintic was found guilty in the 2009 murder of eight year old Tori Stafford.
Tori's father Rodney says he even wrote to the prime minister, father to father, in an effort to get McClintic transferred back to the women's prison.
But he tells the CBC, its not a political issue for him adding "somebody messed up and I'm just trying to get the mistake reversed."
