A Conservative MPP is calling for the end of the blockade in Caledonia on Highway 6 that went up originally in solidarity with Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs fighting a pipeline through their territory in B.C.
Haldimand Norfolk MPP Toby Barrett standing up in the legislature yesterday saying "we respect the rights of a peaceful protest, but enough is enough. Tear down this blockade."
The protest by members of the Six Nations has closed Highway 6 in both directions between Argyle Street South and Greens Road since February 24th.
Barrett, however, would not say specifically, who he thinks should tear down the blockade.
