TSN confirming, a number of Toronto Blue Jays players and staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Blue Jays shut down their spring training complex in Dunedin, Fla. on Friday after a player presented symptoms of the novel coronavirus.
It is not known which players or staff members tested positive.
Earlier this week, MLB issued a 60-game schedule beginning July 23 and 24th.
All games will be played in empty stadiums.
But on top of the Blue Jays outbreak, at least seven players on the Philadelphia Phillies have also tested positive for the virus and one player on the Colorado Rockies.
The Blue Jays will reportedly hold a news conference tomorrow.
Meantime, Phillie Phanati, Mr. Met and Mariner Moose will be getting a big welcome back.
