NDP Official Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath will hold a virtual media conference today to talk about lack of communication in long-term care amid the pandemic.
Joining the party leader, a woman who lost her grandmother to COVID-19 at Royal Rose Place in Welland.
Horwath will use the conference to renew calls the Ford government reveal "high-risk red homes."
An outbreak at Royal Rose was first declared on March 31st.
It remains one of two nursing homes in Niagara that have yet to be declared virus free.
Yesterday, Lundy Manor in Niagara Falls, where at least 18 residents died from COVID-19, was taken off Public Health's outbreak list.
