The NDP taking the Ford government to task again, this time for money being spent on more parliamentary assistants.
In a release, the party says Doug Ford has nearly doubled the number of assistants, which will see 31 MPP's receive a 14 percent pay hike in their new roles.
Ford made the appointments yesterday.
The opposition party noting the Premier recently grew the size of his cabinet by 33 percent, appointing more cabinet ministers than any other province.
Now the parlimentary assistant pool has grown by 72 percent to 31 from 18.
