The Niagara Parks Police force has a new Chief.
Mark McMullen will take over as the top cop on June 5th.
McMullen has over 30 years policing experience with the Niagara region and served most recently as a Niagara Regional Police Superintendent.
As Chief of the Niagara Parks Police Service, Mr. McMullen will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all visitors and properties of Niagara Parks, which will include enforcement of the Criminal Code, and all applicable Federal and Provincial Statutes.
Mr. McMullen replaces Carl Scott, who will be retiring after a 40-year career in policing, the last four of which were served as Chief of the NPPS.
