The Niagara Parks Commission has announced a new leadership structure while filling the vacancy left by the retirement of General Manager John Lohuis.
The Parks Commission announcing they've hired Reegan McCullough as Chief Executive Officer, he'll provide direction and oversight to key corporate administrative functions and take the lead on short and long term organizational strategies that support the direction set by the Board.
Responsibility for all day to day operational functions of NPC will be assigned to a new position.
They've created a Chief Operating Officer position which will have direct supervisory responsibility of the Senior Directors that head up the business units within NPC.
Dave Adames, who is presently the NPC’s Senior Director of Business Development, has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
This position has overall accountability for the operational divisions of the NPC.
McCullough who hails from Alberta and has worked for the OSCA (Oil Sands Community Alliance) and served as Deputy Assistant Minister of Tourism in Alberta will assume his duties as Chief Executive Officer on November 7.
David Adames will remain in the Acting position until that time.
