A Niagara MPP taking Woodbine Racetrack to task for a new policy he says will have a serious impact on the track in Fort Erie.
Wayne Gates pressing the Liberal government to address the policy that he says will stop horses stabled at Woodbine from racing on other tracks more than once a season.
Gates calling the policy self serving and has asked the premier to step in and stop what he calls an unfair attack on the livelihood of the over 100 year history of horse racing in Fort Erie.
Agriculture Minister Jeff Leal says they are taking a look at the new policy and will report back in due time.
