The city of Niagara Falls has received $35,000 in provincial money to help secure talent for this year's New Year's Eve show in Queen Victoria Park.
Council confirming the money during a special meeting of council yesterday.
Sam Roberts headlined last year's show, the second in a row without a live national television broadcast.
City staff say the money will help pay for the rising cost of the show which is also supported by the city, the NPC, Fallsview Casino and the local BIA's.
