It's going to be a busy afternoon for Niagara Falls city councillors.
During their virtual meeting, council will consider whether or not to open public pools, whether to move the farmer's market and how to deal with a $2 million loss in revenue, all because of the pandemic.
Councillors will consider moving the market to the parking lot of the McBain Centre which allows for more social distancing.
A staff report contains three different scenarios for the opening of public pools depending on when the province lifts some of its emergency measures.
And the city's finance department is recommending council follow in the lead of other muncipalities and ask both the provincial and federal governments for grants to help cover lost revenue and added expenses because of the outbreak.
