Environment Canada is continuing to call for a 'significant winter storm' Saturday.
Niagara and most of southern Ontario is under a Special Weather Statement as a low pressure system moves in the region weekend.
Rain, freezing rain, and snow are all possible with this system.
It looks like this system will mean lots of rain for Niagara on Saturday with temperatures staying above the freezing mark for most of the day and evening, but overnight it will become cold turning the precipitation into freezing rain and then snow.
Snow is expected to continue into Sunday.
If you are heading into the London, Kingston and Ottawa areas, freezing rain is expected to affect most areas from east of Lake Huron to eastern Ontario.
Significant ice accretion or build up is possible.
Snow will affect areas east of Georgian Bay with significant snowfall amounts.
Travel is expected to be impacted.
There is still uncertainty as to which areas will be the most impacted with this system.
