Niagara Businesses are ready for step 3 of the provinces reopening plan.
Mishka Balsom, CEO with the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, says this is a good thing for Niagara Business, "thrilled to hear about today's announcement and it's good for business, it's good for individuals, and it's good for employees." She adds, "I think to really move forward on this one is extremely meaningful and a very important step."
Under the next step gyms and theatres will be limited to 50 percent capacity.
Restaurants will be able to have both indoor and outdoor dining that is limited to the number of people who can maintain two metres of distance.
Personal care services will be allowed to offer services that require you to take of your mask as well
Balsom added that businesses are eager to hear a clear border reopening plan, "the border is critical to Niagara's recovery as you look at how many aspects and sectors of the economy depend on it, it is not just the employers the depend on it it's also the employees that do."
The province announced that step 3 will begin next Friday at 12:01 a.m.
